But by igniting their heart’s desires, he might just be opening Pandora’s box. This small New England town will be turned upside down by these witches coming into their own. Though bad for a few locals, it’s still the best thing to happen in Eastwick in centuries.

Bree Van De Kamp (Marcia Cross), the quintessential Martha Stewart-esque housewife, presents a calm and collected exterior, but is dealing with the pain of losing her husband, Rex (Steven Culp), the challenge of raising two rebellious children, Danielle (Joy Lauren) and Andrew (Shawn Pyfrom), and her second marriage to the mysterious Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan). Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) had it all — a successful modeling career, an equally successful husband, Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) and a large house — but with the end of her marriage, Gabrielle must learn how to make it on her own. Lastly Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan), the self made successful real estate agent whose love life is at the top of everyone’s gossip list. Wiseria Lane has experienced it’s share of mysterious comings and goings. From the Applewhite family, including Betty (Alfre Woodard) and Matthew (Mehcad Brooks) who wasted no time in getting tangled up in the drama of Wisteria, to the family Mary Alice left behind: Paul (Mark Moses) and Zach (Cody Kasch). With Mary Alice watching over her former neighbors’ every move, no bit of juicy gossip goes unnoticed, despite how the residents try their hardest to keep it locked behind closed doors.

Eventually their superpowers draw them together when they try to evade the series’ antagonist who wants to harness their super-DNA for himself. Their ultimate destiny is nothing less than saving the world. The series will star Greg Grunberg (Alias), Leonard Roberts (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Milo Ventimiglia (Gilmore Girls), and Hayden Panettiere (Ally McBeal, Guiding Light). Tim Kring (Crossing Jordan, Chicago Hope) is the series’ creator. The pilot is set to be directed by Dave Semel (American Dreams, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Beverly Hills, 90210). Heroes will be produced by NBC/Universal/Tailwind.
